1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Open Code Review ("the Service"), operated by EvalLab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Open Code Review provides AI-powered code quality analysis tools, including:
- CLI tool for local code scanning (open source, BSL-1.1 license)
- Cloud dashboard for scan history and team management
- API access for CI/CD integration
- AI self-heal functionality for automatic code fixes
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Plans & Billing
We offer the following plans:
- Free — Individual use, all core features, unlimited repos, no time limit
- Pro ($19/seat/month or $15/seat/month billed annually) — Team features, dashboard, analytics, priority support
- Enterprise — Custom pricing, SSO, SLA, on-premise deployment
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Use the Service to scan code you do not have rights to analyze
- Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
6. Intellectual Property
The Open Code Review CLI is licensed under BSL-1.1. The cloud platform, dashboard, and related services are proprietary to EvalLab. Your code remains yours — we claim no ownership or rights over code you scan with our tools. Scan results generated by the Service are owned by you.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated analysis and auto-fix suggestions may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and testing any changes suggested by the Service before deploying to production. We do not guarantee that scan results will catch all defects.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EvalLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
